As someone who is blind and benefits from the charity’s services, Helen is passionate about giving back. The organisation provides vital support including respite breaks, day trips, and opportunities to connect with others who share similar experiences.

Thanks to Helen’s initiative and the enthusiastic participation of fellow residents, over £200 has already been raised. In a touching gesture, Blind Veterans UK has sent personal thank-you letters to each flat in Ryde Village, recognising the community’s generosity and involvement.

Helen’s efforts are a shining example of how one person’s determination can inspire collective action and make a meaningful difference.
