Residents at Byrnhill Grove received some very exciting visitors from the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary last week, as part of the charity’s community outreach.

The extra care residents certainly got a kick out of the visit from chilled out Paddy and mischievous Leighton, and they had a great time making a fuss of and learning about them and their home, the sanctuary.

The visit was particularly special for resident, Edna, as it brought back memories of when she used to teach at a SEN (Special Educational Needs) school, and she’d take her students to visit the donkeys near where she lived.

Bray-lliant!
