We’ve introduced a range of ways to ensure our communications always meet your needs:
- All colleagues have access to online communication and customer friendly writing style guides, this supports us to deliver great communications
- All colleagues attend Southern Service customer service training that emphasises the importance of clear, timely communications and regular updates for residents
- We’ve recruited more than 40 residents to our online Communications Group. This group work with our Communications Team to review and improve our corporate communications. If you’d like to know more about what the group do and how you can get involved, go to: Join our Resident Communication Group
- We’ve introduced a dedicated letter review project, where we look carefully at our organisational template letters to ensure they’re as clear, professional and easy to read as possible. Our Communications Group reviews all these letters to give the resident ‘Stamp of Approval’. So far, we’ve looked at more than 50 template letters on subjects including gas and electrical checks, fire safety, complaints, antisocial behaviour, tenancy changes and more.
