Residents showcase cracking creations at Easter parade

It was a very hoppy Easter weekend at Paul Byrne House in East Finchley, as residents hosted their highly anticipated annual Easter bonnet parade.

Always a key date in the scheme’s event calendar, the independent living residents were egg-cited to show off their handmade bonnets, which they’d crafted and personalised during coffee mornings in the run up to Easter.

The competition was judged by new employees from Southern Housing’s Estate Services Team, who had the tough job of picking the best bonnets and awarding some-bunny first prize!

In addition to the parade, residents also hopped to it with an egg hunt, an Easter themed coffee morning, and a raffle.

An egg-cellent weekend indeed!
