Coxheath

We’re excited to be planting a brand new mixed hedgerow at one of our estates in Dover. This new hedgerow will transform an unused grassy embankment into a thriving habitat and include a wonderful mix of young plants: wildlife friendly species, a wild harvest selection, a small copse and additional hedgerow saplings.

As it grows over the next few decades, it’ll provide food and shelter for a wide range of wildlife, including birds, insect and small mammals.

We’re also continuing to strengthen our commitment to nature at our Coxheath development near Maidstone. We’re currently sourcing eight more native British tree species to grow the woodland area that’s been taking shape since the homes opened three years ago. This space is completely dedicated to wildlife, offering a peaceful natural habitat right in the heart of the community.

Standing among the young trees, it’s inspiring to imagine what this woodland will become. In 100 years’ time, people will be standing in the same spot looking up at a fully mature, thriving woodland.

These projects reflect our long term commitment to creating greener, healthier places for our residents and the wildlife that shares our communities.
