From October 2025, new regulations known as Awaab’s Law came into force, setting strict guidance for how social landlords must respond to damp, mould, and other emergency hazards in homes. These changes are designed to make sure every home is safe, healthy, and fit to live in.
Under Awaab’s Law, we now have clear legal duties to act quickly when you report certain hazards, including damp and mould, to us. We’ve been working hard to ensure we’re best placed to tackle these issues and deal with the root causes.
