The site was once home to Ada Lewis House, built in the 1920s to provide support and accommodation for women in need.
Ada Lewis House was one of a number of properties funded by Ada Lewis who was married to Samuel Lewis.
To honour this legacy, we commissioned a local female artist to design bespoke stained-glass artwork at Palliser Road.
Now installed in the entrance, the artwork pays tribute to the women who once lived on this site.
